Chips Ahoy! is a brand of chocolate chip cookies made by Nabisco. They are widely sold in the United States, Argentina (where its name changes to "Pepitos!"), South Africa, Canada, Mexico, Spain, Portugal and Australia (The Blue Bag type is also sold in the Stockmann store chain in Latvia and are marketed in large packages of 9, 18, 27, or in various smaller packages. The name comes from the implication they have more chocolate chips per cookie than average. It is the second-best-selling cookie in the United States, with an average of $355 million in sales per year.

Chips Ahoy Chocolate Pie Recipe
Ingredients
- Crust:
- 16 chips ahoy cookies
- 1/3 cup melted butter
- Pie filling:
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 1 4oz package chocolate flavored instant pudding mix.
- 2 cups cool whip, thawed
Directions
- Crust:
- Place cookies in a sealable bag and crush.
- Mix 1 1/2 cups of the crumbs with 1/3 cup of butter.
- Press firmly onto bottom and sides of a 9 inch pie plate.
- Reserve remaining crumbs to put on top of pie.
- Pie filling:
- Combine milk and pudding mix in medium bowl.
- Stir for 2 minutes with a wire wisk.
- Gently stir in cool whip.
- Spoon into crust
- Top with remaining cookie crumbs right before serving.
- Refrigerate for 30 minutes or until set.
